Film Policy Research
This course studies in-depth analysis, problems, and alternatives for the national film industry development policy to cope with social change and changes in film production methods.
Movie Finance
This course studies the overall financial affairs of the movie including the method of securing the movie financing, production cost management and the operation of the movie fund.
Film Policy Seminar
This course studies how cinema policies have influenced and interacted with the film industry, and discuss and analyze in depth the direction in which Korean film policy should proceed.
Film Industry Seminar
We will study in depth the industrial elements and structure of the image through real case studies and analysis of the video industry.
Film Industry and Statistics
This course aims to understand the functions of statistics and apply them to detailed research projects. In particular, we will train the use of statistical analysis tools that can produce concrete results by processing the primary data of various video industries, and explore the direction and category of various researches.
Film Industry and Law
Students will acquire the basic legal knowledge necessary to understand the video industry and policy, and study contents and applications of various laws related to the video industry and culture. They also study how such legislation should be transformed for the development of the video industry and culture
Research Methodology
Recently, we analyze the factors affecting the popularity of Korean movies, focusing on industrial factors and explore the possibility of quantification. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of industrial factors on the trends of Korean movies (the production cost scale (marketing cost scale, opening time and screen number (distribution strategy), star actor / director / production period / production, supervision, actor, other specific staff participation, production, Grade, whether the film award) by analyzing the factors affecting the popularity of Korean movies.
